What Can Kaz Do For You?

Few pitchers have had the extremes that Scott Kazmir has experienced.

From starting in the big leagues at 20 years old for the then-Devil Rays in 2004 to washing out of baseball in 2012, Kazmir has been a three-time All Star as well as the worst pitcher in the league.

The Dodgers saw the full breadth of his unpredictability last season, as he tossed a one-hitter but also ended the season with a 4.56 ERA in his 26 starts.

He really is an enigma, as the ability is evident, but the consistency is not. He left his most recent start with a hip injury, which may end up being a blessing in disguise for the Dodgers.
