James Johnson

Currently with the Miami Heat, James Johnson has become that helping hand that the Heat desperately need. Far from their days of Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh, and LeBron James, having Johnson as a play-maker has made noticeable difference.

Averaging 12 points and five blocks per game, the way that he would fit into the Lakers is an interesting one.

The Lakers could really use a shot blocker like him to their advantage.

At the end of the day, scoring more points than your opponent wins you games. Being able to block drives to the basket or challenge shots consistently can change how an entire offense works.

Depending on who the Lakers take with their top-three protected pick — if they still get it — Johnson could give the young core even more room to grow.

One thing that Los Angeles must keep in mind if they do have Johnson on their radar is how much they pay him. Hopefully they learned from their generous donations to Timofey Mozgov and Luol Deng that money isn’t always the answer.
