Despite never winning the Super Bowl, the Los Angeles Chargers have some great history and some notable superstars. Narrowing it down to just four key players is going to be a tough task.

Being a Charger fan, I can go on and on about how terrible it is that we have never won a Super Bowl. Granted, there are a lot of teams that haven’t, but the last time any of my favorite sports teams won a championship was in 1988. I was not even born yet, so I guess my time as a sport fan has been filled with near misses and disastrous seasons.

Regardless, we aren’t here to discuss my personal sad story about sports, instead we are taking a look at the four most influential people to grace the Chargers franchise. Despite them never winning it all, the Chargers have had illustrious players grace the bolt and powder blue.

Sure, nobody on this list has won that Super Bowl ring, but that does not take away from the greatness of each individual. These four players are the four best players to ever play for the Chargers, regardless of city. Not only that, I would say these four guys are four of the best players the game of football has ever seen.

Therefore with all of that being said, lets take a look at the best players to ever play for the Chargers – creating our proverbial Mount Rushmore.
