Kenny Britt left the Los Angeles Rams and joined the Cleveland Browns.

Kenny Britt was a free agent who tested the waters. Either he would have came back to LA or sign with another team.

Well, he found another team, but it’s not a team any average would think he’d sign with. He signed with the Cleveland Browns. He signed a four year deal worth $32.5 million.

The more I write about this and think about it, this move starts to make more sense to me. Cleveland lost their top receiver, yet they have a coaching staff who has been to the playoffs and knows how to win.

All they need to do is improve their roster. Many ask why join the Cleveland Browns and not the Seattle Seahawks? Kenny Britt joined the Browns because simply stated, he wants to be a part of something special.

Kenny Britt was the Rams top receiver and a 1,000 yard receiver. Now with the Browns he will be the number one receiver be able to have 1,000 yard receiving season.

Cleveland also signed an offensive lineman to improve the O-Line. Ironically, their O-Line is actually really good.

Who knows something special may happen with the Browns this season. However, if Britt stayed with the LA Rams, he could have been a part of something special as well. I say this because they have been making moves all off-season to improve the team.

They are headed in the right direction with a new coaching staff who have playoff experience and some with Super Bowl experience. Yet, all the coaches can do is coach and let the players play.

Imagine this Kenny Britt and Robert Woods with Tyler Higbee and Tavon Austin. I know this isn’t the best core of receivers, but LA could have managed.

Now without Kenny Britt they still will have to manage. They could of had two go to receivers.
