Pitching Rotation

Last but not least in these Angels rumors is if Mike Scioscia wants to keep his job he needs to address his pitching rotation — this includes the bullpen.

In the 2016 season their seemed to be an inconsistent bullpen. By inconsistent I mean just about every game there were a variety of pitchers throwing. The reason for this is that most pitchers were injured and not fully healthy, recovering from previous games.

Additionally, Shoemaker the leading pitcher was out since he was hit in the head with a line drive ball and had to have surgery. LA literally had no starting pitchers except for Weaver, that they had to trade or sign pitchers off the waiver wire.

Now, in 2017, everyone seems to be healthy and they seem to be calling pitchers from their minor league affiliates to join them in the bright lights.
