Brandon Carr – CB

Brandon Carr, who was a stand out in a surprisingly decent Dallas Cowboys’ defense, has hit the free agency market. The Rams need lock down corners, lucky for them there is a good amount of which on the market. Carr, however, is the most viable option out of the Rams rumors.

Brandon Carr was a central point in the Dallas Cowboys defense last season. Although only having one interception, Carr often lined up against the oppositions number one receiver and proved to be a tough challenge. If the Rams can secure Carr and perhaps draft a corner, slot Carr in the second Corner spot, then they could instantly spark their pass defense.

Carr has stated that he is open to rejoining the playoff destined Dallas Cowboys, but we all know how the NFL works. It is a business, and with no huge contracts on the payroll the Rams have the freedom to likely pay Carr whatever he wants. They could entice him with the dollar signs, and pull him away from the Cowboys to create their own contender.

However, like I previously stated, there are several options that the Los Angeles Rams could go with in this years free agency class. The Rams could bring on Carr with the likes of Sam Shields or Brandon Flowers, giving the Rams that veteran presence that they lack. Regardless, Carr may be their first option to play corner next season.
