Final Thoughts

USC looks for revenge tonight against a team that knocked them out of the tournament after a heartbreaking loss in 2016. Providence is tough and balanced, but the Trojans weathered a year in the difficult Pac-12 conference and will come out motivated to show that last season’s loss is solely a memory.

The Trojans had a strong year and would need to build on tournament success to start being considered in the upper echelon of conference teams on a consistent basis. Pace will be frenetic, but Enfield knows who he needs to rely upon for USC to advance.

With Enfield calling the plays, he will look to Jordan McLaughlin to distribute, Bennie Boatwright to score and Chimezie Metu to man the middle.
