Julius Randle

Trying to sell Julius Randle by himself isn’t likely. After trying to come back strong following a season-ending injury in his rookie year, the 2017 campaign has fared well for him.

The former Kentucky Wildcat is far from the best player on the team, but he’s shown he can make a difference. Typically, his biggest impact on the game comes from either a huge scoring performance or dominating the boards.

Both are a necessary part of a championship team that Magic Johnson wants to make happen. If Randle doesn’t improve between this year and next year, Johnson could think of putting him in a package for a superstar.

As part of a potential package, Randle’s selling point would be his explosiveness. It’s something a lot of teams want, but don’t necessarily have, even those with a better record than Los Angeles.

He’s still young with a lot of room to grow, and Lakers fans have to like what they’ve seen from him so far.
