They are one of the most inconsistent playoff teams in the league. Some of the games they will dominate, while others they are dominated.
However then they are games where they barely lose or barely escape with a victory. The Clippers being inconsistent won’t help them int he playoffs. They are are struggling to keep the four seed as they are fighting back and froth with the Utah Jazz.
At the worst they could possibly end the season as the 8th seed.
Blake Griffin was the leading scorer for the Clippers with 23 points. Just about everyone scored. Deandre Jordan had a spectacular night earning a double-double with 13 points and 17 rebounds.
Once again, Jordan struggled from the charity stripe going 5-11 despite his double-double. Chris Paul struggled and didn’t make a field goal the entire night. His lone 5 points came from the free throw line. However he was able to drop 7 assists.
Additionally, the Clippers pulled off a win with the Cavaliers star resting despite turning the ball over 14 times. Well that is because it helps when your opponent turns the ball over just as much as you do.
Once again one attribute the Clippers do well and did well in this victory was they passed the ball. They had 27 assists as team, just about twice as many as the Cavaliers.
Also, they out-rebounded the Cavaliers 54 to 40.
The Clippers were able to get second chance points. They took full advantage with James and Irving resting to come out with a victory.
