Jayson Tatum

Jayson Tatum is the player who quietly could be missed in the draft as the best player and end up with the LA Lakers. Tatum averages 16.2 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game.

He has the ability to be a double-double machine in the NBA. Yes the Lakers already have a forward, but he could compete with Julius Randle and Larry Nance Jr. for the starting role.

Then again maybe he could end up starting if they draft him.

However If this were to happen they would have to trade Julius Randle and hopefully get a quality player in return.

Anything is possible and the Lakers are still rebuilding. Perhaps they keep all three forwards as Tatum is the most versatile and could play behind Ingram who also went to Duke University.

Nonetheless, the Lakers have a list of quality play makers who can help the organization back to its inning ways to choose from.
