USC vs Stanford

This rivalry barely made the list at number 12.

Both teams play in the Pac 12 Conference in the NCAA. The rivalry in football between these two is always kindling. They play each other once as they are in the same conference.

Also, they play each other twice when they win their divisions and meet in the Pac 12 Conference Championship game. Unfortunately, in 2016, both teams missed the conference championship game.

In 2015 they met twice, one time in the regular season and in the conference championship game. USC lost both games but the Trojans shined in the regular season. Re-matching Stanford in the championship game shows how big the rivalry is as well as the game always being within 10 points in most games. In their regular season match in 2015 USC lost to Stanford 41 to 31.

This rivalry usually always comes down to the 4th quarter and the last 5 minutes of the game.
