Jean-Sebastien Giguere, G

Though the Ducks have had other goaltenders play well the one player affectionately known as “Jiggy” is most synonymous with their greatest playoff success.

Giguere is the all-time franchise leader in wins for a goalie in both the regular season and postseason.

He made a splash in the 2003 Stanley Cup Playoffs when he took the Ducks to the brink of the ultimate prize losing a Game 7 in the Finals to the New Jersey Devils.

In the playoffs, Giguere finished undefeated in overtime winning seven games in OT, setting a record of 168 minutes of shutout hockey in OT.

He would also record five shutouts and had an overall save percentage of .945, winning the Conn Smythe as playoff MVP despite being on the losing side.

Giguere would again flash playoff brilliance when he helped the franchise win their first Stanley Cup in 2007.  Proving once again that when the Ducks needed a big win, it was usually “Jiggy” in the net for them.
