UCLA vs. Kentucky may be the most polarizing match up in this year’s Sweet Sixteen.

The Sweet 16 in the 2017 NCAA Tournament features excellent, intriguing matchups – but none is more eagerly anticipated than UCLA vs. Kentucky. The gravitas of this game stems from three main factors.

First, these programs have the most NCAA titles of any schools in Division I. Secondly, the game is a rematch of the exciting 97-92 UCLA victory in December, which was the most entertaining basketball game of the collegiate season. Lastly, both of these teams are playing their best ball of the season, and feature explosive offenses that should provide Friday night fireworks for viewers nationwide.

The winner of this South Regional contest in Memphis will face the winner of the North Carolina-Butler match up, which will immediately precede this game. In short, the winner of the UCLA-Kentucky game will be one of nine teams remaining, but needs the victory to advance to the Elite Eight.

So what are the three keys to victory for the Bruins? Breaking down the analysis, point by point, LA Sports Hub begins here.
