The Los Angeles Chargers have signed running back Kenjon Barner.

Kenjon Barner previously played for the Philadelphia Eagles. There are many reasons he left the Eagles and one of those is he sees something special with the Los Angeles Chargers.

The future is bright. Kenjon Barner adds depth and versatility to the running back position that is much needed in Los Angeles.

He is now one of three great, versatile, durable, running backs on the Chargers. If anything they will place him on special teams to help them in that aspect of the game.

He will definitely play on offense with his skill set and agility. LA adding a running back will help in so many ways on offense.

For starters, if one happens to get injured there are two more who can play the game and are healthy to play. On the Eagles it was difficult to shine as a running back with just about 3 other current and former star running backs.

The Eagles at one point had Ryan Matthews, Demarco Murray, and Darren Proles. That is why it was difficult for Barner to prove himself. However when Murray left Barner did have more of a chance but still not a lot.

Now with the Los Angeles Chargers the competition is open and he could even earn the starting role for running back. The Chargers have a great group of running backs. This will make it difficult for opposing teams prepare for since they don’t know who will be playing.

This Season Kenjon Barner had 2 touchdowns and 129 rushing yards off of 27 carries. This isn’t bad given the number of carriers he had. Most likely LA will hope to see the touchdown number go up. This can and will happen as he is quick in the open field and hard to tackle.

Kenjon Barner has quick feet, has strength, and has agility. When all of three of these are together in one it makes for a dangerous combination and athlete.
