Aaron Murray has agreed to terms with the Los Angeles Rams as one of the more interesting twists in NFL Free Agency.

Aaron Murray is now one of many quarterbacks on the Rams and on the Rams radar. He was a reserve quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs under Andy Reid.

He has developed under a great coach and quarterback. Additionally, he played his college ball at the University of Georgia with Rams running back Todd Gurley.

Aaron Murray got to learn from one of the greatest quarterbacks ever in Alex Smith. Alex Smith is a person who I am sure Murray looked up to for wise counsel.

Sometimes in order to be the best you have to beat the best. Well, in Murray’s case, he worked out with the best and learned from them. Aaron Murray brings wisdom to the Rams quarterback position.

Also, he beings healthy competition to compete for the starting role. All three quarterbacks on the depth chart will improve their game because of this competition.

Since they have coaches with playoff experience, they as players will improve as well. The LA Rams now have a strong quarterback roster and have depth.

Similar to how Murray will bring out the best in everyone the coaching staff will bring out the best in Aaron Murray.

However we all as fans and critics know that can change in a blink. For example, if the starter doesn’t play well or worse gets injured, then the next man is up.

Also, Aaron Murray has a shot to start if he can beat out the other two quarterbacks on the depth chart for the starting spot.

Next: Will Lakers Draft De'Aaron Fox?

It won’t be easy. Also, if he doesn’t start but gets to play that could be his time to showcase what he has for other teams looking for a quarterback who can compete and wants to win.
