The latest Rams rumors center on a potential trade.

Rams rumors that have surfaced lately have to do with Trumaine Johnson and Tony Romo. Both are still wondering where they will be the start of the season.

The LA Rams might have changed their mind and may want to trade for Tony Romo.

If they truly wanted to sign him they would do that in free agency. However the Dallas Cowboys are being smart by keeping Romo and doing their best to receive a player just as high caliber in return.

Hence the idea of trading Trumaine Johnson for Tony Romo makes sense.

The Cowboys need another defender to help their team, but the Rams are being wise by holding out to see if they can sign Tony Romo in free agency, if the Cowboys can’t or don’t trade him.

Whether he is signed in free agency or traded he will most likely be a reserve quarterback. The LA Rams would be appreciated to have him as wise counsel to second year player Jared Goff. Additionally, if anything were to happen to Goff Romo could rejuvenate his career in LA.

The Rams mostly have a new coaching staff that has playoff and Super Bowl experience among them all. Tony Romo would benefit form playing with the Rams whether he was a reserve or a starter. Also, to be a starter he would ave to earn ti and its very likely he could.

Losing Trumaine Johnson would hurt the Rams, however they did sign Kayvon Webster so they should be fine. Tony Romo could make these no name receivers on the Rams good by placing them on the map with his skill set and talent.

He would have a decent offensive line but not as great as the Cowboys. Also, he knows what he’s doing so that helps.

Nonetheless the LA Rams haven’t made up their mind and anything is still possible.
