With the erection of Shaq’s statue, it’s only fitting for a Lakers legend.

Shaq’s victorious honor presents itself in the form of a bronze statue and a festivity known as “ShaqTown” today at LA’s Star Plaza to commemorate his legacy of leading the Lakers to three consecutive championships.

First off, the unveiling of the hefty 1,200 pound prize will rise 9-10 feet delving in on the Star Plaza and the Staples Center. The eye-catching bronze statue was crafted by Julie Rotblatt Amrany and Omri Amrany which both have produced prolific art master pieces.

The design of the statue is meant to display Shaq in a dunking position ready to shoot between those hoops.

The Los Angeles Lakers hit it big with their contract with Shaq from 1996-2004 which he led them on an NBA championship spree in the seasons spanning from 2000-2002.

Thanks to his relentless efforts with his high point, rebound, and block averages, the Lakers manages to win three consecutive NBA championships within that time frame.

Additionally, ShaqTown features an array of events including feasting, a live DJ, and a list of amusement games.

The bronze stage is enough for many of his former and current teammates to howler at his victory.

Kobe Bryant, whom recently retired from the NBA last year, chimed in along with Shaq to produce one of the best teams in the league history.

Shaq thanked West and fans for supporting his prolific career with the Lakers and the rest of the NBA. The other NBA teams which he also dominated the hoops include the Boston Celtics and the Cleveland Cavaliers.

His dominance changed the way the Lakers and the rest of the NBA run the course of the courts.

Shaq dominated the hoops with an average of 27 points, 12 rebounds, and about 3 blocks which if it weren’t for him the team wouldn’t be known for what it truly stands for.

A night for the Los Angeles Lakers quickly turned festive which turned up hope for the rest of the season.

After kind of a rough start to the season, the Lakers manage to gain upper mobility in wining streaks.
