There will be plenty of Lakers rumors until the Lakers are great again.

Some Lakers rumors that are swirling around are free agents they can pick up during the off-season. They were close to landing a star player at the trade deadline. However they were smart by not signing them. You ask how is this smart? Well it is smart because had they actually signed that player, they could have left after this 2017 season and not come back to LA.

Now at the end of the season they can search for an All-Star player whose contract is up soon. For example, a player who is a free agent and is looking for a new team. There are three All-Star players who are interested in joining LA in the near future.
