These Lakers rumors could be really close to coming to fruition. If the Lakers can sign one of these free agents in the off-season more players will be more attracted to LA.

Many players have stated their interest in playing with the Lakers. However they don’t want to play on a losing team, hence they are waiting till they get better.

What if they only way the team gets better, besides practicing, is if a marquee players steps up and signs with the team?

Additionally, some of the star players were waiting to next season when they can help the team from the start of the 2018 season. When a new player signs with a team sometimes it is hard to find the chemistry. Therefore whoever signs with the Lakers in the off-season they will help an already well-oiled team with lots of experience under the belt from one full season.
