Logan Forsythe – 79

The newest member of the Los Angeles Dodgers comes in at a modest 79 rating, which is just about on par with the talent Forsythe brings to the table. While Forsythe certainly is a talented second baseman, a big driving point of the Forsythe deal for the Dodgers was the clubhouse presence that Forsythe brings.

That same clubhouse presence is not calculated into the player ratings for the show, and if it was, I am sure that Forsythe would have a much higher overall. The Dodgers players were reportedly very pleased that they brought in Forsythe to man the middle, however, his production will not be limited as just his clubhouse presence.

Last season Forsythe batted a modest .264 with 20 home runs and 52 runs batted in. His 135 hits will certainly be welcomed on the Dodgers, and hitting in a much deeper lineup Forsythe may thrive. The opposition has to pick and choose who to pitch to, and if Corey Seager is on deck then Forsythe is going to be attacked. This could definitely cause an uproar in Forsythe’s statistics.

The 79 rating for Forsythe seems to be nothing short of perfect. While he is a great second baseman, he has not yet made that leap into the elite levels that the league has. Hopefully, for Dodger fans, Forsythe can begin to make that leap this season.
