2017 NFL Draft: Chargers Seven Round Mock Draft

In the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft, the Los Angeles Chargers added to their young, good, pass rush by selecting defensive end Jordan Willis. According to the mock draft, an area of great need for the Chargers is an edge rusher. Willis is just that and would give the Chargers an insane three-headed monster in Joey Bosa, Corey Luiget, and Jordan Willis.
This pass rush would be deadly at the NFL level. Corey Luiget has been a great option for the Chargers when he remains healthy, Bosa has already solidified himself as one of the best in the league, and Jordan Willis was arguably one of the best defenders in college football last year.
Last season Willis was the Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year, also reeling in a third-team Associated Press All-American vote. These accolades were definitely caused by Willis’ outstanding play throughout the course of the season.
Willis registered 52 tackles, 17.5 being for a loss, and 11.5 being sacks. Those numbers are nothing short of fantastic as Willis is one of the best defenders in the draft. Edge rushers are so plentiful in this draft as well, so he could fall as low as the early third round.
While chances are that Willis may be snagged in the end of the second round, the Chargers managed to secure his dynamic defensive ability in this mock draft.
