In perhaps the most positive Dodgers rumors that a fan can hear, there are three distinct reasons on why the Dodgers can win it all in 2017.

This October, October 20 to be exact, will mark 29 years since the Los Angeles Dodgers have been able to hoist championship gold over their heads. We all know the story of the series fueled by Kirk Gibson’s game one walk-off home run. As Vin Scully stated: “In a year that has been so improbable the impossible has happened!”

That home run happened on my father’s 15th birthday. Now, that same man that witnessed the greatest birthday possible (at the game I may add) has a son that is embracing the daily grind of the college student. That is how long it has been for Dodgers fans, heck, the club hasn’t even made the fall classic since that 1988 year.

Last year they were close, shutting out the eventual champion Cubs in consecutive games the Dodgers were at home and looked like the knights in shining armor to slay the dragon that was the Cubs. It wasn’t meant to be, some curses are bigger than others, and last year it was the Cubs time to shine.

Every year us fans get optimistic, we get the butterflies in our stomachs on Opening Day and we get the sweaty palms as fall approaches. Every year it has been “There’s always next year!” Well, 2017, this is the Dodgers year.

The Dodgers look better than they have in recent memory, they look more unified, and they look more like champions. 2017 will be the year that the Los Angeles Dodgers will bring back championship gold to Chavez Ravine, and according to these Dodgers rumors, here are three reasons why.
