Eastern Conference Finals

(2) Cleveland vs. (4) Washington

At long last, we’ll see if this season is where the gas runs out for the defending champs. After being pushed to the max in the first two rounds, Wall and Beal will take care of Cleveland.

It won’t be easy, but we won’t see LeBron James in the Finals for the first time in his last seven playoff appearances. It’ll end an incredible streak, but the series could be the best seven game showdown of the entire post-season.

Similar to last year’s championship bout with Golden State, Washington will establish a 3-1 series lead. In response, the Cavs will make a push all the way to a Game 7 but fall short in front of their home fans.

Heart break for Cleveland, but home run for D.C.

Prediction: Wizards in seven
