The first game of the Clippers vs Jazz series was a sight to behold.

Alright, so this year’s Clippers have a chance at a championship, right?

Not if things continue for them in Game 1 of their first round clash with Utah. After Chris Paul’s circus shot to tie the game at 95, Joe Johnson saved the Jazz with a clutch bucket.

Now Los Angeles finds themselves in an 0-1 series hole despite having home court. Although the best-of-seven series is just getting started, this all but forces their hand in Game 2.

If the Clippers fall again at home, they’ll have to play the Jazz in Utah in an 0-2 situation. It’s the last thing that they want.

Not only that, but the way in which they lost brought all of their heartbreak back to mind. This is on top of Portland last year and Houston before that. It’s a new way for them to see their stellar regular season come crashing down.

Before the series goes any further, here’s three things we learned from Game 1.
