2017 NFL Draft: Latest Seven-Round Rams Mock Draft

In the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft, the Rams continue their offensive focus, this time selecting the six-foot-six, 302 pound senior out of Troy University. The Rams offensive line is pretty shoddy, and selecting Garcia in the third round gives them a viable option without having to cross their fingers later in the draft. Garcia could make an impact as early as week one, and that is exactly what the Rams need.
With the perfect frame to be an offensive lineman, Garcia stands as a man amongst men. NFL.com gave him a 5.75 rating, projecting him to go in the second round. Obviously here we see Garcia go in the early third round, and it would be a steal for the Rams. Although he is often underweight during the offseason, the Rams could get him into the system, bulk him up, and ride the coattails of his natural ability.
Especially with a young quarterback at the helm, the Rams are going to need to bolster their offensive line and do it fast. They already started that process by signing veteran left tackle Andrew Whitworth and would continue that pursuit in the draft.
Overall, selecting an offense lineman in the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft seems like a no-brainer for the Rams. The team needs a viable option to fill in the starting squad once the season rolls around, and if they wait any longer than that they will not find it. Garcia would be a great pick up in the third round and make an impact hopefully as soon as day one.
