Down The Stretch

Los Angeles @ Jacksonville (11/12)

After a bye week right down the middle of their schedule, the second half of the season will start against Jags. While not really a scary opponent right now, as they’re still trying to figure out some things as a team, they’re a good sleeper team to watch. Meaning that the Chargers can’t afford to go easy on them and lose focus. This game will tell us how prepared they really are for a postseason push.

Buffalo @ Los Angeles (11/19)

Like last season, the Buffalo Bills will be playing in Los Angeles. Unlike a year ago, they’ll have to deal with the Chargers instead of the Rams. If the Bills have made the right off-season changes to truly compete, this game should be fun. It could have a lot of implications on the AFC wild card, which only adds to the excitement of a late season home game.

Los Angeles @ Dallas (11/23)

After getting in battles with some of the best the AFC has to offer, going to Dallas gives them what the NFC has. Last year’s top seed in the NFC bracket, the Cowboys have made one of the biggest moves in this off-season. They’ve officially moved on from Tony Romo and entrusted the immediate future to second year standout Dak Prescott. Will the Chargers be able to crash the party?

Cleveland @ Los Angeles (12/3)

Whoever ends up being the Browns quarterback is going to have fun with this one. The Chargers will likely focus on stopping Kenny Britt as well as being efficient on third downs to wear out the Cleveland defense. Like the Jacksonville game, shouldn’t be too much of a struggle, but at least this one’s at home.
