Final Four

Washington @ Los Angeles (12/10)

Right after playing Dallas, the Chargers will square off against Kirk Cousins and the Redskins. It’s uncertain how much of a playoff team the Redskins really will be, but the Chargers need to win when it counts for their season to matter after Week 17.

Los Angeles @ Kansas City (12/16)

The reason they need to win at the end is because they close the season with some hard games on the road before their season finale. Playing the Chiefs in December in their building will be one of the hardest things the Chargers will be faced with all season. If they lose, not sure that they make the playoffs as a favorable team, if at all.

Los Angeles @ New York (10/24)

Well, they got a taste of the Giants — now they’ll get the Jets. Hoping for an easy return to the Meadowlands, the Chargers will face a Jets team that is also in the midst of an identity crisis and will have some off the field issues to figure out as well.

Oakland @ Los Angeles (12/31)

If nothing else, this is the game to watch for the Chargers in 2017. If not a playoff spot up for grabs between division rivals, this could be one of those games where Los Angeles can play spoiler. There’s nothing more that they’d love to do more than ruin it for the Raiders, who could see disappointment for the second year in a row.
