Closing Thoughts

Under rookie head coach Anthony Lynn, the Los Angeles Chargers hope that the changes they’ve made heading into 2017 will make a positive difference. Lynn’s presence gives the team a different vibe from past head coaches, as he’ll look to keep winning at the top of his priority list.

Also, the Chargers are going to have to figure out what they’re going to do with Philip Rivers. Whether it’s an early season determination or they wait until the last few games, the team will need to process how they want to move forward at quarterback.

While Rivers is great for the here and now, his arm and his health won’t last forever. The Chargers have to be smart about that if they want to compete in Los Angeles.

All of this leads into the Chargers waiting, like the Rams, for the Inglewood stadium in 2019. Until then, it’ll be an interesting fight for a city that didn’t have a football team just two years ago.
