Weeks 5-8:

  • Week 5: Seattle Seahawks

  • Week 6: at Jacksonville Jaguars

  • Week 7: Arizona Cardinals

  • Week 8: Bye Week

The Rams received their bye week practically right smack in the middle of the season, playing seven games before the bye and nine games after. The Rams will head into the bye week in good standing, it may not be spectacular, but it will surprise a lot of people and show the league what this team can really do.

In week five we see the Rams hosting the division winning Seattle Seahawks. The Seahawks-Rams rivalry is pretty intense, and we saw that in the team’s color rush Thursday Night Football game. Despite having the far greater talent, the Seattle Seahawks have not beaten the Rams on away soil in the past three season. I would expect that streak to extend to four with a 20-17 Rams win.

Week six sees the Rams travel all the way across the country to square off against the struggling Jacksonville Jaguars. The Jaguars and Blake Bortles have shown signs of promise, and although Bortles will likely eat up the Rams shoddy secondary, it may not be enough. I expect a high scoring affair, ending in a 35-31 Rams win.

Then the Rams will head to London to square off against the division rival Arizona Cardinals. Despite dropping the first game against LA last season, the Cardinals should be able to outmatch the Rams. The receiving core of the Cardinals is too good for the Rams to handle, leading to a 27-17 Cardinals win.

Season Record: 4-3
