Weeks 9-12:

  • Week 9: at New York Giants

  • Week 10: Houston Texans

  • Week 11: at Minnesota Vikings

  • Week 12: New Orleans Saints

After heading overseas and then getting a week back the Rams must again travel to the east coast to square off against Eli Manning and the New York Giants. Last season the Rams and Giants squared off in London, where New York took home a 17-10 victory. That game was a fairly boring one, and while round two may be more entertaining, I see the same Results with a 21-20 Rams loss.

Then finally, after a long stretch away from home, the Rams get to host the Houston Texans. Sure, the team got a bye week, but at this point, the Rams would have gone over a month without playing on home turf. The dynamic Houston defense led by JJ Watt will certainly cause the young Rams offense problems, however, without an offense of their own, the Texans will fall 14-9.

Then, right after returning home after an extending stay away, the Rams have to head back into a different time zone to face off against the Minnesota Vikings. If this game were to happen last season, I would give the Rams the victory. However, with Teddy Bridgewater on pace to return to his team, and the home field advantage for Minnesota, I see the Rams losing 20-10.

However, not all hope should be lost, as the Rams will host the struggling New Orleans Saints and the aging Drew Brees. Drew Brees is still great, don’t get me wrong, but this New Orleans franchise has seemingly already entered rebuild mode by dealing receiving star Brandin Cooks. The Rams will break back even on the season with a 23-18 victory over the Saints.

Season Record: 6-6
