NBA free agency 2017 could really be the death of the Clippers’ core.

It’s one thing to potentially lose Blake Griffin to another team. But imagine now if the Clippers have to part ways with their All-Star point guard in Chris Paul.

While he verbally agreed to rejoin the Clippers, he could still sign with another team if push comes to shove. One of the biggest reasons he would leave his current team is because of the lack of championship production.

With what they’ve got, the Clippers should’ve been competing for a ring by now. Not only that, but Chris Paul still hasn’t seen the third round despite being up 3-1 in a series with the Rockets a few years ago in the divisional stage.

It’s not looking great for the Clippers, but it’s not like they didn’t have a chance to prove themselves.

That in mind, here’s five places we could see Chris Paul play next season.
