Closing Thoughts

Before he decides what to do, Chris Paul is stuck trying to dig the Clippers out of another hole. In their first round series against Utah, it’s obvious that he’s their last life line in a series that could go downhill quickly.

If they come back to Los Angeles tied at two games each, it puts even more pressure on Paul to get it done in Game 5. Not only that, but a loss in Game 6 would mean they’d have to deal with a do or die Game 7 and that’s not what they want.

All in all, we have to prepare ourselves for what could be an awkward summer. Depending on the departures, the Clippers could come back still a contender, at least in the regular season, or a team stuck in the middle.
