Adoree’ Jackson – Cornerback, USC

Adoree’ Jackson’s name is likely circled multiple times on the Rams list of whom to draft with the 37th overall selection. More likely than not, the University of Southern California cornerback is the team’s number one choice in the draft, and rightfully so. Keeping it hometown with a Los Angeles university, the Rams would get one of the best corners in this year’s draft.

The Rams are very, very thin in their secondary. Los Angeles franchise tagged Trumaine Johnson to keep him from leaving, with that reportedly making him unhappy. Even before Johnson’s seemingly inevitable departure after this season, the Rams are alarmingly thin at the cornerback position. This is exactly where Jackson comes in.

Jackson registered a 5.9 rating on NFL.com’s combine tracker, and was compared to top-tier corner Jonathan Joseph. Also, on CBS Sports big board, Jackson came in as the 36th best player in this year’s draft; lining up perfectly with the Rams selection at 37th overall.

Regarded as one of the best overall athletes in the draft by CBS, Jackson presents an option for the Rams that will be reliable now and will only has a massive ceiling as time progresses. With head turning quickness Jackson will certainly be able to succeed on defense and special teams, as NFL coaching kicks into his natural talent he could become one of the NFL’s best.
