After opting to go with a receiver over a safety in the first round the Chargers have some options. What are these options according to these Chargers draft rumors?

Look, yesterday when the Los Angeles Chargers selected Mike Williams I was pretty upset. You can see that with the harsh draft grade I gave the team, despite picking up arguably the best receiver in the draft. Being a fan of the team myself, I was hoping to see Malik Hooker’s named called after Jamal Adams was selected the pick prior to the Jets; but to no avail.

Adams may have been the Chargers number one option, and after he was selected the Chargers likely wanted to go with the best, needed, talent available. While the safety position was needed, with the rich injury history of Keenan Allen the Chargers needed a star receiver for the future.

Williams gives the team just, and quite frankly, may give Phillip Rivers some of the best options he has had in his career. Alongside Melvin Gordon in the backfield, Williams joins Allen, Travis Benjamin, Dontrelle Inman, and Tyrell Williams at wideout. We all know Rivers makes everyone better, so there is not a doubt in my mind that Mike Williams will be great.

However, there are still six more rounds to draft for the Chargers, and with high selections in each round, they can be pivotal.

After addressing the offensive side of the ball in the first round, will the Chargers lock down a safety in the second? Or will they hone in on another position? According to these Chargers draft rumors, here are three players the Chargers should consider for their second round pick.
