Their Chance At Landing Paul George
One of the ways they can manage to survive fallout from Blake Griffin’s decision is to pursue guys like Paul George. The superstar won’t be a free agent until after next season, but to say he’s not watching closely is an understatement.
Already vocal with teammates in Indiana about his feelings for the Lakers, the Clippers hope they can be the pest they were in the Chris Paul scenario years ago. Winning Game 7 means that George will get to see more of what they’ve got.

It’ll also give the team as a whole a breath of fresh air to try and collect themselves before playing the Warriors. Out of any team in the Western Conference, the Clippers could be that miracle team to take down Golden State.
The Clippers vs Jazz series is showing how intense the playoffs can be. They’ve both given us great basketball, and unfortunately one of them will see their season end on Sunday.
But the hope for the Clippers is that it doesn’t close the window on Paul George.
