After yet another disappointing playoff performance the Clippers are due for a shake-up. According to these Clippers rumors, where may Doc Rivers end up?

Clippers fans have been frustrated with head coach Doc Rivers, causing much speculation, and Clippers Rumors, regarding his seemingly inevitable departure. Especially following yet another disappointing playoff performance, Rivers seems more likely to head out than ever before. Granted, Blake Griffin’s injury and other misfortunes were not his fault, fans seemingly have had enough.

While running a franchise based on fan opinion is not smart, it is evident that the Clippers are doomed to a big shake up. With Blake Griffin and Chris Paul both owning player options, the team could see a far less talented unit next season. Because of this, the team may seek to get whatever they can out of Rivers to help accelerate the process of rebuilding.

This would be nearly identical to what the Celtics did with River and would help the Clippers greatly. The Celtics received the Clippers 2015 first round pick for Rivers, and while R.J. Hunter has not made an impact, that first round pick is huge.

If the Clippers are able to bring back Chris Paul and Blake Griffin we may not see Rivers traded out of his contract. The team may look to test their luck for the next two years, seeing if the quartet of Rivers, Paul, Griffin, and Jordan can bring in a ring.

However, if the team fails to bring back their two superstars, we may be saying goodbye to Doc Rivers in Los Angeles. Therefore, what are three possible new homes for the NBA Championship winning coach?
