After ending the month on a four-game win streak, how has each Dodgers’ starting pitcher performed according to these Dodgers rumors?

The first month of the 2017 MLB regular season has absolutely flown by. Opening Day seemed like it was yesterday and now we are heading into May. April has been a tricky month for the Dodgers, revolving around the team’s inability to hit left-handed pitching.

In what was a mediocre start to the year, the boys in blue finished April on a three-game win streak. This three-game win streak helped push the team above .500 for the first time since April 16th. Finishing with a 14-12 record for the month certainly was not ideal, but if the end of the month means anything, this is a team that never says die.

As for the pitching, well it has been a rollercoaster of a ride. The Dodgers actually rank fourth in the MLB in ERA, which in large part is courtesy of the bullpen. We have seen the Dodgers starting arms go from throwing gems, to throwing duds, to throwing less than five innings on consecutive nights.

All in all, the pitching staff could have been better, but it is putting the team in situations to win. The team has only lost by more than two runs four times, one of which was caused by an eighth-inning meltdown and an eleven run night from the Diamondbacks the following game. The others were 0-4 shutdowns from both the Cubs and Padres.

Therefore, with that being said, here is the Dodgers starting pitcher’s rankings, according to our Dodgers rumors, after the month of April. We are only including guys that made two or more starts, so sorry Julio Urias, you’re missing out on this one.
