There have been so many Lakers rumors regarding the franchise’s next superstar that it is too high to count. However, which of these stars would lead the Lakers to the most wins next year?

Laker fans are not happy with the current state of the franchise, that is an understatement. For a team that has had such a storied, historic, past – this dry spell is a really tough pill to swallow for Laker fans. While the team does have a young core and a promising future, us Los Angeles natives are not known to be patient, and we have been very patient with this Lakers team.

Fans of other teams, that have gone multiple decades without a championship, are certainly laughing at this assertion. However, this is Los Angeles, we are too numb to the Lakers greatness that when we go four years without anything to really cheer for it is hard. With the Dodgers being title-less since 1988, the Lakers have been the only successful LA team alongside the Kings.

Because of this, Lakers rumors have been consistently swirling within the NBA on the next true star for the Lakers. While there are many more than three, today we are going to take a look at three star’s and their immediate impact on the team. If you, the audience, likes this format let us know and we will continue it with other rumored acquisitions.

To do this simulation, we are using the hit NBA 2K franchise. While video games are not the most analytical things, it is our best method to complete a season simulation. Therefore, between Paul George, Blake Griffin, and Lonzo Ball – who will have the biggest day one impact?
