Cody Bellinger has made a big splash in the big leagues. If the Dodgers top prospect stays in the MLB, according to these Dodgers rumors, which prospect is now the best?

Cody Bellinger, the Dodgers number one overall prospect and the tenth overall prospect in baseball – according to MLB Pipeline – has played great thus far. In nine games Bellinger has batted .303, slugging two home runs and driving in five runs batted in. The left-handed batter has gone from blasting home runs, to bunting for a base hit in the shift.

Bottom line is that Bellinger knows the game of baseball, and has the perfect mind to succeed at the MLB level. We have already discussed why Bellinger should remain in the big leagues, but chances are, he will not. Chances are that he will be sent down today, Friday, as Joc Pederson is set to make his return from the DL.

Heck, by the time this article is posted Bellinger may already be sent back down to AAA. Regardless, the plan from day one has been to give Bellinger a short leash in his time with Los Angeles.

However, should the Dodgers change their mind and keep Bellinger in the bigs, who becomes the Dodgers top prospect? While one can easily just look at the prospect lists and state that number two is, it is not that easy.

Therefore, with that being said, let’s take a look at the Dodgers top three prospects if Cody Bellinger decides to make LA his permanent home.
