Thabo Sefolosha
Instead of only going after the better part of the free agency class or their young core, a veteran like Thabo Sefolosha would provide an interesting fit.
Given that he’s got the veteran experience they’re looking for, it’d be a decent boost to the roster.
He last played with the Atlanta Hawks as the sixth best paid small forward out of the 2017 free agency class. Playoff experience is also a major plus when it comes to Sefolosha’s resume, but the Lakers need veteran guidance in the regular season.
Sefolosha is a forward that the team could depend on. The 33-year old wouldn’t have a dominant role on the floor, but that’s not what they should be expecting from a guy like him at this point in his career.
The Swiss-born star held a stat line of 7.2 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 1.7 assists per game in this past season. Atlanta saw their season come to a close in the first round after losing to the Washington Wizards.
Now would be the perfect time to come knocking for Sefolosha.
