Nerlens Noel

After things didn’t go the right way for the young center in Philadelphia, he spent some time in Dallas. Only a few years into his NBA career, playing in the right spot is crucial for Noel to get the most out of his talent.

When thinking of talented centers, there’s no question that the long term answer for the Lakers is youth. Dallas isn’t necessarily the best fit for someone of his caliber, but a fresh start from the beginning of a new season would do him well in Los Angeles.

It would give the Lakers some confidence in their depth at the position as well. A major challenge that Noel got caught in the middle of while with the 76ers was his established role.

Noel would be great to see with Zubac and Black also in the mix at that position. Mozgov wasn’t able to be nearly the kind of guy that the Lakers thought they were getting when they signed him.

This could cause them to look for a center in free agency to complete the young stars they already have there.

And Noel fits the bill perfectly.
