Lakers free agency rumors: 15 free agents that will be available

J.J. Redick
Another heartbreaking finish to the season with the Los Angeles Clippers leaves a lot of questions for the future of J.J. Redick in the NBA. If he ends up not being pursued heavily or at all by the Clippers in free agency, which could happen, the Lakers would be wise to look his way.
Again, Los Angeles wouldn’t be expecting anything miraculous from Redick, but he’d be a great option for them depending on who they draft. If the Lakers go the Lonzo Ball route, they’ll have a pass happy type of offense that could give Redick a chance to be effective.
The Lakers need star power and growth from their young core to compete for the playoffs. Playing for the Lakers, Redick would have to know that the playoffs are in the near future, but may not happen right away.
Then again, if the Clippers blow up their core, the Lakers could become a serious option for the veteran guard.
