The latest Lakers rumors address four key prospects in the 2017 NBA Draft.

This summer will be one of the biggest times of the year the Lakers have found themselves in for quite some time. Not at their championship or playoff usual, Los Angeles’ rebuild needs a few more pieces.

Magic Johnson and Rob Pelinka are in charge of making that happen.

Plenty of names have bounced around when it comes to who the Lakers would take with a top three pick. Players like Lonzo Ball and Markelle Fultz are up for strong consideration, but the team might be open to other things.

According to a report from Kevin Ding of Bleacher Report, that’s exactly what’s happening.

If the Lakers take someone besides Ball or Fultz, it’d be shocking. Not so much with the latter, as he’s expected to go number one overall no matter what. But passing on the UCLA phenom in Ball would be a surprise both pleasant and unexpected.

Here’s a break down of who else the Lakers reportedly have in mind.
