De’Aaron Fox

The fourth and final prospect in the discussion might come as a surprise to some. However, former Kentucky point guard De’Aaron Fox is absolutely worthy of being in the mix.

Right after the Wildcats overtook the Bruins in the Sweet 16, a secondary point guard dispute opened up between Lonzo Ball and De’Aaron Fox. For the majority of the season, including the postseason, Ball looked like the second fiddle to Fultz in terms of draft stock.

But getting beat badly head to head against Fox had some doubting his abilities to shine in the spotlight.

Should the Lakers get Fox with a top three pick, the bigger question after that is where would Lonzo Ball end up if he doesn’t go to the Celtics. The Lakers hold the keys to success for all of these players, with them all having All-Star potential in the right place.

Fox is the wild card pick at point guard, while Josh Jackson is that type of pick that would shake the rest of the draft up from there.
