Once again in the 2017 NHL Playoffs, the Anaheim Ducks were the center of attention.

In the 2017 NHL Playoffs the Ducks have been involved in most or all of the playoff drama. Anaheim is playing a rematch of the 2016 First round in the 2017 Western Conference Finals.

They lost Game 1 of the 2017 Western Conference Finals in a thriller to the Nashville Predators. Anaheim had a tough time making it past Nashville in 2016, hence the elimination from the 2016 playoffs.

Therefore the Ducks will have trouble advancing past the Predators to the 2017 Stanley Cup Finals. The Ducks extended Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals to overtime before losing.

The Ducks seemed like they let the game slip away. There have been many games in the 2017 NHL Playoffs Anaheim has been involved in, lost, and should have won.

This was one of those games. According to the box score, the game was close and off paper it was as well. This game is what fans like to call a nail-biter.

In the box score there was only one category the Ducks fell behind. They did not have that many shots on goal despite scoring first. Anaheim had 29 shots on goal to their opponents 46.

Additionally, the Ducks failed to convert on their power plays and they had 4 of them. They also had less possession of the puck 44% compared to 56%. Unfortunately, one category they did win which they shouldn’t have was they had 18 giveaways.

Anaheim lost in most of the categories, however it was close in one category. The Ducks had 14 blocks to the Predators 19.

Nashville had 28 hits to the Ducks 27.

You can say this game was physical. This series is going be physical and thrilling to watch if you are a hockey fan.

Once again the Ducks kept it close even with penalty minutes, they had 8 to their opponents 10. It seems like the Ducks are revisiting their past. Last year in the first round of the playoffs the Predators defeated the Ducks in game in Anaheim.

Hopefully in the 2017 NHL Playoffs the Ducks can rewrite the script from their 2016 series loss. In order to rewrite the script they must win the 2017 Western Conference Finals and move onto the Stanley Cup.

Additionally, the Ducks must not look at the past, they must continue to look forward and achieve their goal of winning the Stanley Cup. Nonetheless Anaheim has a long road ahead of them to accomplish their goal.

Next: Kyle Lowry to Lakers?

In conclusion, their attitude is what has motivated them. Their attitude has lead them to win thrilling comeback games.
