The latest Lakers rumors address five reasons why their starting point guard should be Jordan Clarkson.
Jordan Clarkson has been at the center of Lakers rumors before, but not like this. As the Los Angeles Lakers wait for the draft lottery, plenty of questions remain unanswered.
Most of them have to do with the team’s immediate future, with the long-terms still well in mind.
Should Los Angeles retain their top-3 protected pick, there’s a strong chance they’ll land a point guard. Speculation suggests that Lonzo Ball is who they have their eyes on, while De’Aaron Fox has had his name in the mix more recently.
Whoever they pick, they’ll have some time to figure out if they’ll need to adjust their lineup.
Last season, Jordan Clarkson saw his role become more prevalent from the bench. Instead of taking issue with it, Clarkson rolled with the scenario from the get-go.
As a result, both he and Lou Williams torched opposition from the bench, leading the way to a lot of early wins for the team.
But now times have changed.
