With as much star power as this team has, the Dodgers rumors are inevitable. Of these Dodgers rumors, which potential targets must the team stay away from?

The Los Angeles Dodgers have had an interesting 2017 thus far, that is for sure. The month of April was a disappointment, with the team hovering below and around .500 for most of the month. Then, the season turned a new leaf, with the Dodgers posting a 12-5 record in their last 17 games played. There has been ups, downs, slugfests, and shutouts.

Whether it is the team’s health, the inability to hit left-handed pitching, or the roller coaster starting pitching, the team seems to be lacking one last great producer. The starting pitching has been great, and the bats come around when they need to, but there is a feeling that this Dodgers team can be far better than they are.

This Dodgers squad currently stands with a 22-17 record, yet it still feels like this is far from their ceiling. There have been disastrous pitching performances, bullpen explosion, and crickets in the offense. Granted, no team is perfect, but the Dodgers seem to either be amazing or horrible; no in between.

That has what caused fans to want one more piece, one more guy that can sum up this entire team. Whether it is an ace or a right-handed bat, there have been many targets tied to the Dodgers.

However, all of these Dodgers rumors have caused there to be some pretty unorthodox, potential, targets. Here are three potential trade targets the Dodgers should stay away from in 2017.
