Orlando Franklin has officially been cut by the Los Angeles Chargers.

Orlando Franklin was a key player to their offensive line, that struggled to stay healthy the whole season.

He may be able to resign with the Chargers if they are just trying make room on the roster and evaluate others first. Most likely Orlando Franklin will not be back on the Chargers roster unless something drastic occurs.

Los Angeles has been rebuilding their offensive line to protect Phillip Rivers and company. The Chargers have a great team on both sides of the ball.

If the offensive line could just stay healthy all season they could make the playoffs again. Hence the reason they are rebuilding the line.

They did sign Russel Okung from the Seattle Seahawks who is a marquee player and can lead the rest of the line as a team.

Chargers fans should not worry because LA drafted three great offensive lineman who will develop quickly, protect Rivers, and stay healthy. Los Angeles is one team that did exceptionally well in the 2017 NFL Draft. Here are the players they drafted according to espn.com.

They drafted a solid receiver to go alongside Allen and if Allen goes down again the they have their number one receiver they can go to when he is down. However LA is hoping Allen says healthy all season long.

They now have a plethora of skill agility players on offense who can compete with any team. Yes the Chargers didn’t have a great record last year. There were a few games they should have one that were close. They would have ended the season with a wining record if they won the close games.

Maybe even earn a playoff spot. The teams defense proved they can compete with everyone when everyone is healthy is well. They can’t do anything alone they need maximum effort from everyone.

Once again a common theme in this article and with the Chargers is staying healthy. All the Chargers have to do is stay healthy all-season long and they can make the playoffs.

Next: Kyle Lowry to Lakers?

Lastly, the question isn’t can LA make the playoffs, it is when will they make the playoffs?
