Once again the Anaheim Ducks were at the focal point of drama in the 2017 NHL Playoffs.

Anaheim evened the Western Conference Finals of the 2017 NHL Playoffs. Their victory seemed like they had it in the bag. However, that was not the case. The story seems to be the same for the Ducks every game and series they play in.

Anaheim has a tendency to take a lead in the game, next blow the lead, then either lose the game or win the game in comeback fashion. In this game where they evened the series, they escaped with a victory on the road.

Anaheim has a and a few escapes and comeback victories in the 2017NHL Playoffs. In game four they had a two to zero lead. Next, the lead was narrowed down to one goal. Before they knew it, the game is tied and the teams were heading to overtime.

The Ducks were able to survive a 5-3 power play by the Predators. Yet, when the whole squad was on the ice that is when the tying goal was scored.

More from Anaheim Ducks

Good news for Anaheim is they have Corey Perry who scored the game-winning goal.

The Ducks need to just learn how to keep their lead, build on the lead, and finish. Once they figure that out they will be golden. They have at least two more games to figure it out and apply that in the Stanley Cup if they make it.

Anaheim barely had three more shots on goal 37 to 34 while they each had 30 hits. Also, the Ducks had more possession with 53% and 20 blocks. Once again they had more giveaways but still came away with a victory.

Although the Ducks had less power plays five to two, they had more penalty minutes ten to four. In these 2017 NHL Playoffs Anaheim has been struggling to maintain a lead whether it is a series or game.

Now the Ducks have a chance to take the lead at home and close out the series in Nashville. Anaheim can do it, but the question is will they do it?
