2. Chicago Bulls

Out of all of the best destinations for Julius Randle, this one perhaps makes the most sense for the Lakers as well. The Chicago Bulls are kind of clustered, they assumed that they could bring in stars Dwayne Wade and Rajon Rondo and the egos, alongside Jimmy Butler, would mesh nicely. Obviously, that wasn’t the case.

Sure, the Bulls did make the postseason as an eighth seed which was a nice rebound after missing the postseason last year. However, their record was, in fact, worse and at times the team was cringeworthy with their attitudes. They all played like high school seniors getting recruited by colleges, they did not care about each other, only their own performances.

Therefore, there may need to be a shakeup in Chicago if they want to improve moving forward. Luckily for the Bulls, the Lakers have shown previous interest in Butler, a man who seemingly wants out of Chicago. Getting rid of Butler may be the Bulls best route, and we could see Julius Randle packaged in that trade.

A package consisting of Randle, Jordan Clarkson, and perhaps a future first round pick would easily be enough for the Bulls to accept. This would give the team young guys that Wade could craft, and a good enough draft pick to bank on in the future. Not only does Randle fit in this team well, but his departure would help the Lakers – it is a win-win.
